Friday 23rd April could have been a bad day for the Development Team at Clothingsites.co.uk. It is both a Friday and a Pay Day. You may well wonder whatever on earth could make it so bad, so I will try my best to explain. The Dev Team here don’t need much of an excuse for Fried Chicken and both Friday’s and Pay Day’s happen to be as good an excuse as any, so when they both fall on the same day unfortunately for us it means we have one less excuse.
Gutted, yes indeed, but luckily, we’ve just taken delivery of some AKA t-shirts meaning the money we save will be invested wisely – the slightly more healthy diet this week means there is a better chance we’ll fit in to them as well. The Worn By “AKA” collection is a range of t-shirts featuring the names used undercover by bands when they want to play secret gigs, play incognito, or names they used before they became famous... the names they never wanted you to know.
My personal favourite is the Warsaw (Joy Division) one because of our local connection, but we also have AKA tees for Queen, The Who, Television, Foo Fighters, Jimi Hendrix, Blur and The Kinks.
So, with what I have told you in mind, from this day forth, Friday 23rd April will also be known as “Not as much Fried Chicken Day”.
